Most of the time spent trying to get CSS-based sites to look good is spent dealing with Internet Explorer bugs, issues and the fact that it implements CSS commands differently to other, standards-compliant browsers.
I am trying to tally up the damage; the wasted time and effort due to Microsoft's lax implementation of the standards twinned with its tactic of forcing every windows users to use it.
62 people have registered 3935 hours wasted.
$137725 in hourly fees ($35phr) pissed up the wall due to IEs bugs and lack of standards support.

TODOs - this site has quite literally been created while I was on the bus going home on 26/01/09 - so, it's not too pretty yet, and is missing stuff. My plans include:
- Letting you amend/delete logged hours
- Making the cost statistics show as bar charts, and have a much fuller list of equivalences.
- Have alternate means of showing the cost, like pages with the IE symbol eating a clockface for each hour wasted
- Rifle through the frustrations and give stats on those too
- Have a page dedicated to help - from the Holly Hack onwards.
